ABOUT THE ARTIST
Oscar Escapa is a Barcelona-based DJ and producer working across techno and hardgroove. He began developing his production skills in 2012, largely through self-directed learning, and has built a catalogue on labels including Drumcode Ltd, Planet Rhythm and Terminal M.
His work includes collaborations with Hertz, Tiger Stripes, Cristian Varela and Horacio Cruz, as well as remixes by producers such as Matt Sassari and Andres Campo. The studio remains a central part of his artistic practice, connecting his releases with his work behind the decks.
His DJ career has taken him to events including Domo in Granada, Florida 135, Off Sonar in Barcelona and ADE in Amsterdam, alongside appearances in Lisbon, Sofia and Cologne. His sets draw on that experience and on a sustained connection with the European techno scene.
